The KH9 features a lightweight headset that fits comfortably over your ears and along the neck behind the head. At the end of an adjustable length flexible gooseneck sits a cardioid condenser microphone, whose sweat-resistant capsule prevents corrosion from the prolonged exposure to moisture that is to be expected in a theatre setting. The cardioid pickup pattern greatly minimizes feedback problems and effectively rejects signals not originating directly in front of the mic.
